🥷🏼 BARO Invest becomes Hedging Alpha | Hedging Alpha

What is Hedging Alpha and what happend to BARO Invest?

As of today, BARO Invest will be continued as Hedging Alpha.

With BARO Invest, I wanted to introduce private investors to the world of investing, explain the basics to them and keep them up to date on the most important things. The fact is: there are many other high-quality channels and accounts that can fulfill this role better than I can. With Hedging Alpha, my focus is changing. As one of the world's first accounts, I will now focus on the world of alternative investments such as private equity, venture capital and, above all, hedge funds. I want to shed light on this dark corner of Wall Street: Who are these players? What strategies do they use? But not only that. I myself have not been invested “long only” in stocks for a long time. I have been holding alternative assets such as precious metals or cryptocurrencies for quite some time. I also had some short positions open this year. My investment style has therefore been more like that of a hedge fund for some time and no longer that of a long-only private investor. With the α Portfolio, I would like to disclose this investment style publicly. I will break down hedge fund strategies on Hedging Alpha, explain them and then incorporate them into the α Portfolio. My own stock analysis will, of course, form the basis of the portfolio and continue to be published for free. The newsletter will continue to provide a weekly update on the past trading week.

If you are interested in these topics, I would be very happy if you continue to follow me in the future :)

The language for Hedging Alpha will be English. In the future, I plan to make the website bilingual, with a toggle function between German and English, so that all analyses and blog posts are available in both languages. Perhaps this option will also be available for the newsletter. All posts on X and on Instagram will be shared in English from now on.

This is what you can expect on Hedging Alpha:

🧮 Breaking down complex hedge fund strategies

🧑🏻‍💻 Introducing techniques used in private equity and venture capital

🥷🏼 News and secrets from the “hidden” corner of Wall Street

💎 A public α portfolio in which I use hedge fund strategies, go long and short, and sometimes take short-term trades with the aim of generating “alpha” and being protected in times of crisis

🗞️ A weekly newsletter in which I summarize the past trading week
